Yesterday I went to Seattle to meet up with a friend, (we missed each other) so While I was downtown I started checking out some music
Seattle’s Street music scene has it all from Accordions to Washboards and even a Saw
By far the best I heard was Carly Calbero who had two self produced CDs for sell which I brought (not on i-Tunes yet but you can order them on Bandcamp) This song is Middle-age 13 on her CD “The Outlining”

I’ll never know ol’ Mother Hubbard
I did not grow up under the best of circumstances, A single mother raising two boys on welfare, working when she could but never quite making ends meet.
With that history and in these trying times I found myself needing to fall back on one lesson from my youth, my mother was famous for finding dinner in an empty cupboard. Last night I cooked up a nice dinner from forgotten ingredients, with enough for lunch and maybe dinner too. Great for the fact that I needed to find a way to make 30$ last all week.
So Thanks mom for teaching me to find something to cook in an empty cupboard

Vacation Videos
You dropped a bomb on me, by the Gap Band.
The person who made this left a minute of black at the end, so when the music stops you can go on to something else, if you want.
Oh my God this woman is gorgeous and has great taste in music.

What I'm doing this weekend
The McChord Air Expo
It's Free!
As a thank you to the Puget Sound communities, which have given McChord tremendous and unwavering support, the Air Expo 2008 will be a world-class event. In addition to a number of civilian and military flying acts and numerous static displays, the show features the Air Force's world-renowned aerial demonstration team, the Thunderbirds.
At McChord Air Force Base. Photos and "hopefully" a video to follow.
Update: I have photos and a movie at my geobent blog.
And has always lots more photos at my Flickr site.
